"Take Pride In Pennsylvania, 1989"
The Secretary of D.E.R., Vice President Bernie Edmundson,
President Nick Lambert, and the wife of Governor Casey.


 Nick Lambert (pictured above, first row, second from right) presents a $2000 check to the Fish Commission by way of Angler editor Art Michaels (first row, center.  Lambert and the others pictured are members of the Pennsylvania Striperama Team that earned second place in the national Striperama VI striped bass fishing tournament, held last May at Norris Lake in Tennessee.  The $2,000 was deposited into the Commissions Fish Fund.  The presentation took place during the fall 1988 meeting of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association in Huntingdon.
Pennsylvania Striperama Team members this year are members of the Raystown Striper Club.  Pictured are: (first row, left to right) Merle Walk, Dave Coover, Art Michaels, Nick Lambert, John Joivell, (second row, left to right) Glenn P. Asper, Danny Kline, Steve Johnston, and Kim Heimbaugh.  Absent from this picture are team members John Durst and Glenn S. Asper.

At the Fish Commission meeting last January, the Raystown Striper Club donated $5,000 to the Commission to enhance the Commission 1991 Angler Use, Harvest and Preference Survey.  Raystown Striper Club President Nick Lambert (right center) and club treasurer Don Brumbaugh (right) make the donation to Commission President William J. Sabatose (left) and Executive Director Edward R. Miller (left center).
