The following rules will be in effect for the May 19th and 20th 2012 Raystown Striper Club, Inc. (RSC Inc.) Don Brumbaugh Memorial Tournament. Rule interpretation will be the exclusive desicion of the Tournament Director and the Tournament Committee. Those decisions will be final and will not be subject to appeal. It is the responsibility of each participant to familiarize themselves with all state and federal laws and all rules established the the RSC Inc. Tournament Director.
  • Entry fees are as follows: One hundred dollars ($100.00) entry fee per boat (up to two participants); a fifty dollar ($50.00) entry fee for each additional participant. Children 12 years old or younger fish for free. All fees are non-refundable.
  • Tournament will be a total weight tournament based on two (2) fish per day per boat. Only two (2) fish per day per boat will be allowed to be weighed. (THE MINIMUM LENGTH OF ALL FISH WEIGHED IN IS 26").
  • Safe boating will be observed at all times.
  • The use of mobile communication devices is permitted.
  • At least one participant from each boat entered in the tournament must register at the tournament host location (Memmories at the Seven Points Marina) between the hours of 3:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. May 18th, local time. This is important! At this time you will be given an official weigh-in number which must be used to weigh in fish. The brief seminar will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. local time.
  • All participants, winners and non-winners are subject to polygraph test. Failure to submit to a polygraph test upon request will result in immediate disqualification. Anyone failing a polygraph test will be disqualified.
  • Officials will be on the water for observation during tournament hours. Each team is required to comply with all requests.
  • Tournament hours will be as follows: 12:01 a.m. May 19th, 2012 through 11:00 a.m. on May 20th, 2012. Lake will be off limits from 6:00 p.m. May 18th, 2012 until 12:01 a.m. May 19th, 2012. Launching will be permitted between these hours but boats will not be allowed to leave launch site no-wake areas. But you may take bait in the no-wake area prior to 12:01 a.m. May 19th, 2012. Officials will be on the lake during these hours to enforce this rule.
  • All participants are required to follow the highest standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conservation. No consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs while on Raystown Lake during tournament hours will be permitted. Conduct reflecting unfavorably upon efforts to promote safety, sportsmanship, fair competition and tournament rules are grounds for disqualification. All boats must be operated in a safe and professional manner at all times
  • Each boat must meet all U.S. Coast Guard and state requirements.
  • All fish must be caught live in a conventional sporting manner. Fishing from boat or bank will be permitted except areas designated as off limits or no fishing by federal, state or local officials.
  • All participants must have a valid Pennsylvania Fishing License. Anyone cited for breaking Pennsylvania fishing or boating regulations during tournament hours will be disqualified.
  • In cases of Ties, lunker will decide the winner.
  • Raystown Striper Club, Inc. will not be liable for any accident, theft or injury to any participant or spectator.
  • Non-participants may not fish or ride with participants during tournament hours unless officially assigned. There will be no changing of partners after the tournament begins. Should a partner become unable to compete, tournament officials must be notified that a new partner will be fishing.
  • Fish may be caught casting, trolling, bank fishing, or drifting with lures or live bait. Fishing below the dam will not be permitted. The designated tournament area is Lake Raystown proper.
  • The catching of baitfish will be done in strict accordance with the laws governing that activity.
  • There will be no culling of fish. Should you desire to release a fish, do not bring it in your boat. If the fish is in your boat, it will be considered legally in possission and will count towards a daily limit.
  • All fish to be weighed in must be in fresh condition or will not be accepted.
  • The weigh-in will be held at the Seven Points Marina, located between mile markers 8 & 9. Weigh-in times will be as follows: Saturday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon., 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. Midnight Sunday, May 20th 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If participants are not in line to weigh fish prior to the weigh-in closing time, those fish will not be weighed until the next weigh-in.
  • All fish weighed in become the property of Raystown Striper Club, Inc.
